Sunday, 04th of April 2021, 8.45am: Wake up! We are going on a hike today! After all Corona measures are taken, we a are ready to go with everyone in the bus! Everyone is wearing their masks. The atmosphere is very energetic and everyone is excited to go hiking! After getting to know some new faces in the bus and getting instructions of the guide for the day, we are ready to go. The bus stops in Montanejos right next to the hiking trail. Off we go!
After 2hrs of hiking we stop at this powerful fountain rushing out of the mountain, where we take funny pictures. Time to have a first beer and a little snack! We continue the hike with beautiful views. Everyone is in a good mood, chatting and some even singing. Back to the bus we grab our swimwear and go down to the “Fuente de los Baños”. Crystal clear water is awaiting us! Not everyone is brave enough to enter the water because of the cloudy weather. Nevertheless most of us can’t wait to jump in! Others prefer to stay at the bar and have a drink 😉
What a perfect ending for a day like this!
