Carnaval de Vinaròs
The Carnaval de Vinaròs is an annual festival in Vinaròs. Since 2007 it has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in the Valencian Community. The origin of Carnaval de Vinaròs dates back to 1871. A masked dance was held in which fifty reales were collected and presented to the Mayor-President of the City Council, Demetrio Ayguals de Izco by Nicolás Bas Rodríguez as charity.
This year Carnaval de Vinaròs takes place from the 23rd of April until the 9th of May. With the end of April and arrival of the month of May, the city gives itself fully to this festival and becomes the center of fun and imagination. Color, music, and fantasy follow each other for ten days in the various massive events that culminate with the parades. More than thirty troupes parade through the streets of Vinaròs, accompanied by King Carnestoltes and his entourage. King Carnestoltes is the Carnival King, a fictitious character who presides over all the Carnival events.

Program:
16:00 Departure from Valencia
We will meet at 15:45 in front of Mestalla stadium and leave at 16:00.
Arrival and party
When we arrive we have a party in Vinaros.
21:00 Great Carnaval Parade
Between 20:00 and 21:00 will start Great Carnaval Parade. Before that there will be festival with a lot of music and fun.
1:30 Back to Valencia
We will go back to Valencia.
Food and water: Bring water and food from home or you can buy something there
Outfit: Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes and bring costume
Single ticket: 23€ until Wednesday, 25€ after Wednesday

Cancellation policy: In case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure) your money will be returned. In other cases, if you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply: Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund. In form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From one week until Thursday (of the same week): 100% only in form of voucher. After Thursday 20:00 NO REFUND. Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure) These devolution doesn’t include the service fee. Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures. The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you). For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
