Charity Event for Animal Rescue
For this event we are cooperating with Valencia Language Exchange and D.A.R.N.A Animal Rescue.
D.A.R.N.A
Darna is a sanctuary dedicated entirely to helping abandoned animals. They advocate a no-kill policy in which they seek to give abused and abandoned animals a second chance at life, regardless of their age, size or health. They are based in Xátiva, Spain.
Valencia Language Exchange
VLE is a non-profit, non-governmental association that want to connect people of different nationalities & ages. The goal is to learn and practice languages and sharing stories together. VLE is also offering cultural and hiking excursions as well as sport events and other trips.
Why are we organizing a charity event?
In times of Covid crisis, animal shelters struggle to feed their residents because people can’t give as much as they used to. The Erasmus team is cooperating with VLE team to help by doing what they do best: bringing people together and connecting them.
How does it work?
You can register for the event for free. Buy yourself a drink and meet other people! 100% of the profits from drinks at the event will be donated to D.A.R.N.A. to protect animals in need! You will also have the opportunity to donate money if you would like to support the association even more. Any donation is greatly appreciated, but you decide how to support the association.
Where and when?
The event will take place at the Palau de la Musica café (Passeig de l’Albereda, 30) from 19:30 on Friday July 02. Protocol Coronavirus
In order to be able to enjoy the event safely, you should follow these protocols for participating with VLE/CoAcad. 1. First of all, if you feel any symptoms such as fever/cough/breathing problems, you should not go to the meeting point. 2. Use of face mask will be compulsory during the whole time during the event. 3. The bus will be treated with disinfectant before and after each service. 4. Before boarding the bus, a temperature check will be carried out. 5. We will provide you with a disinfectant wipe so that you can clean your seat safely. 6. Do not print a ticket, it will be enough to have the QR code on your mobile phone or just tell us your name and surname. 7. During all guided tours (all the time), the use of a face mask will be compulsory.
