Between Xábia and Denia you will find a true beauty of nature: In this excursion you will see the incredible Caves of Tallada! Its a unique grotto where crytal clear water is flowing. Partly natural and partly man-made, this place will surely blow your mind. If its warm enough you can even go snorkeling in there!
The route is short – approximately 2 km – so we will only take one hour to do it. Right before the entry of the cave it can be a little bit slippery, so please wear appropiate shoes.
Dénia
Dénia is a charming city with colorful houses and full of life, colors, and joy. Usually, you can find many parties and events here, so you can be sure that there is a lot to do in this town. If you want, you can visit the castle of Dénia which was built in the 11th and 12th centuries by the moors.
If you don’t want to see the castle, you can also go to the beautiful beach of Dénia and enjoy your afternoon there! Maybe you even want to try the cooked red shrimp for which Dénia is so famous? There are a lot of opportunities to grab a drink or get a nice meal!
Cueva Tallada & Denia
Program:
8:45 Meeting
We will meet at 8.45am in front of Mestalla stadium and leave at 9.00am
11:00 Arrival
We arrive at 11am and take a break
12:00 Start hike
Around 12:00 we will go to the Hiking point and start the hike. It will take around 1h30 minutes to get to the cave and we will stay there until 15:00
15:00 Coming back
We hike back to the bus and go to Dénia
16:00 Arrival in Dénia
You have free time till 18:30 in the city, you can go to the restaurant, the beach and visit the city
18:30 Back to Valencia
We will go back to Valencia around 18.30
Difficulty: Medium level
Duration: 1 hour for one way + time visiting the cave
Distance: approximately 4 km (both way)
Altitude: 120 meters (Torre del Gerro)
Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
Towel
Water (very important)
You must wear appropriate shoes to go through the mountain and to get into the water
Food and drinks (in a backpack and not in the fridge) in the area there are no services
If you want to discover the inside of the cave, do not forget the flashlight or frontal
Snorkelling material (in case you want to snorkel)
If you want to take pictures, take a waterproof camera or a waterproof case
Super important, carry an unused garbage bag. Before leaving the cave, please clean it, we will collect our own garbage or others if we find it, to help to mantain the nature clean

Protocolo Coronavirus
In order to travel and enjoy safely, we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. 1. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not go to the meeting point. 2. Use of a mask will be mandatory on the bus. 3. Before boarding the bus, temperature control could be done. 4. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. 5. Do not print the ticket to avoid touching, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname.

If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund. In form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From one week until Thursday (of the same week): 100% only in form of voucher. After Thursday 20:00 NO REFUND
Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
