Green way bicycle Jérica & Kayak
The descent of the Ojos Negros Greenway is one of the most fun and easy activities for cycling in the Valencia Community. The route runs from Barracas, a village located at 1000 meters above sea level and very windy (we will pass between its giant mills!) to Navajas, famous for its large mansions and its waterfall “el Salto de la Novia”.
On the way, we will discover bridges, old stations, long tunnels, the beautiful Caudiel and Jérica with its famous Mudejar tower, and lots of nature…
This Cycling route is about 42 km long. It is going to be so much fun due to its slight slope throughout the journey as it was a long mining train track that transported the coal from the mines of Teruel to the sea in Sagunto.
We will start in Barracas and our destination is Navajas – you don’t have to worry about anything: We will supply you with a bike, insurance, and the route is 20 km of linear downhill easy biking. As long as you are comfortable with riding a bike, you will be fine!
The longest Greenway in Spain – The Ojos Negros Greenway – is divided into two sections because of its enormous length of 160 km.
We will start by getting on bikes in Jerica. We arrive at our kayak station, where we will switch from our bicycles to kayaks and enjoy the water! After 1.5 hours of kayaking, we take some time for lunch before going back on the bikes to the Salto de la Novia.We will enjoy the rest of the day at this beautiful waterfall!
9:00 Departure from Valencia
We meet at 8:45 at AVENIDA ARAGON 31 (In front of Mestalla), we start our trip at 9:00.
10:00 Arrival and start with the bikes
We arrive at our starting point where we get the bikes. We get on the bikes and start our journey!
12:00 Arrival to Jérica
We will arrive to beautiful Jérica, time to have a break.
12:30 Back to the bikes!
We’ll meet at Jérica main square and head towards the Kayaking place!
13:00 Kayak time
Let’s have some fun!
15:00 Lunch time
After the Kayaking, we have some time to have lunch and enjoy the beautiful lake
16:00 Back to bikes to Salto de La Novia
We go one more time on the bikes and ride until Navajas, where we will place our bikes and go to the Waterfall of Salto de la Novia. We enjoy the rest of the day there.
18:30 Navajas
We walk back up to Navajas and have a drink together in a bar
20:00 Back to Valencia
We will go back to Valencia!

Protocolo Coronavirus
In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VE / CoAcad. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.

If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before)
Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before)
Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before)
Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before)
After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before)
Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
