Hiking route to one of the most emblematic and visited peaks of Alicante.
Hiking CABEÇÓ D’OR is probably the most emblematic, visited and highest peaks in Alicante provinces, with it’s 1209 mts of altitude where the views are not only excellent but impressive, A 360º view of Alicante province and almost all the high peaks of the Valencian community.
The literally meaning of the name could be Gold head or treasure mountain (D’or in Valencian) but not, it comes from Water UR in Arabic.

The level is Medium High so yo have to be physically fit to do this trek, abeçó d’or is a protected natural area, so apart from incomparable views you will also see the protected birds, such and Aguila real (Royal Eagle).

Program

9:00 Departure

We will meet at 8:45am in front of Mestalla and leave at 9:00 from Valencia

11:00 Start hiking

We arrive at 10:30, have a small break and start the route

17:00 End of the hike

When we finish the route, we go to the near city for a drink

18:15 Back to Valencia

We meet at 18:00 and 18:15 go back to Valencia

Protocolo Coronavirus

In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus.

Important & Cancellation policy Cancellation policy: If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply: Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before) Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before) Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before) Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before) After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before) Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure) These devolution doesn’t include the service fee. Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures. The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you). For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
