Jijona & the Canelobre Caves
So this time we will take you to a beautiful city called Jijona where you will have a chance to taste the typical Spanish sweet “TURRON”,…soo delicious!
TURRON
When you are going to Jijona you have to try Turrón de Jijona. It is typicall sweet made of honey, sugar, egg white, full of toasted almonds. Turron is very special and is protected by European Union. This sweet of Jijona town has been brought to the country by Arabs in the 15th century.
Turon is most eaten and sold during Christmas time, because of its long-lasting Christmas dessert tradition, which started in 16th! You can find Turron sweets, chocolates all over Spain supermarkets like Mercadona or Consum, Lidl…
During the trip to Jijona, we will visit Turron museum,which is very famous and we can not forget to mention that we will visit the caves as well.
Program:
8:30 Leaving Valencia
We meet at 8:15 in front of Mestalla and leave at 8:30
10:30 Arrival to the Caves of Canelobre
When we arrive we visit the Caves
12:30 Going to Jijona
When we arrive we have a free time to explore the city
15:30 Museo del Turrón
We meet at the bus and go to the Museo del Turrón
18:15 Coming back to Valencia
Food and water: Bring water and food from home or you can buy something there

Protocolo Coronavirus
In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus.
Important & Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy:
If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before)
Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before)
Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before)
Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before)
After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before)
Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
