Hiking Font de la Figuera

The municipality has a very interesting historical-artistic heritage, such as the two hermitages of the town: The Sant Sebastià hermitage from the 15th century and the Santa Bárbara hermitage from the 16th century. For hiking enthusiasts, several very interesting hiking trails start from La Font de la Figuera.

We will do highly recommended route that leads to the summit of the highest peak of la Costera: the Capurutxo Font de la figuera, an excursion that accesses the cross and from whose summit you can see a magnificent landscape that reaches the territory of four regions.

This exciting route has around 8 kilometers and height more than 900 meters, where you will enjoy all the impresive views. We will start our route in the town La Font de la Figuera from the Pijirri recreational area, we will pass through a tunnel over the via ferrata and through the Santa Cave, and eventually we will reach the highest point of La Cruz.

Program:

09:00 Departure

We will meet at Avenida Aragon 31 (in front of Mestalla) at 08:45 and leave at 09:00 in the morning.

Arrival

When we arrive we will have time for a coffee and afterwards we start the hike.

Lunch Break

In the middle of the route we will take a break for a lunch.

The end of the route

When we finish the track we will have free time until 18:00 to have some drinks.
