With several footbridges over the river, waterfalls, rock formations, caves, and water jets, this route is surprisingly beautiful and goes along the banks of the Guadalaviar river and ends at a swamp with stunning views.

With several walkways over the river,(which will remind CAMINITO DEL REY), waterfalls, rock formations, caves, and water jets are the highlights of the beauty of the route.

Beautifully green trees cover this route, creating a natural oasis that makes for a stunning photo spot.

Program:

9:00 Departure from Valencia

We will meet in front of Mestalla stadium at 8:45 and leave at 9:00. Please, be there on time.

10:30 Arrive and start the tour

We will arrive around 10:30 and we will start the hike.

13:30 Halfway to a swamp

We enjoy a marsh, which in summer you can even rent a boat and go for a walk on the small beaches.

16:00 We finish the trek

We expect to finish between 16:00 and 16:30.

16:30 Let's go to Teruel

We are going to Teruel for a drink, we will arrive around 17:00 and explore the city.

18:00 Back to Valencia

18:00 we meet the bus to return to Valencia.

Hiking description

Distance: 8 km

Level: Medium-easy; High canyons and bridges (can be a bit vertigo-inducing).

Elevation gain: 146 meters

Duration: 3-4 hours

Walking among the canyon walls, following the Guadalajara River with beautiful viewpoints and footbridges.

What to bring

Obligation: Suitable shoes (Sport or mountain) and sun protection.
But also bring a jacket, because it coud be cold in the evening.
Food/Water: we recommend you to bring enough food for the whole day and you need enough water!!!

Important information & Cancellation policy We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departure. The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you). For every trip we have a minimum and a maximum number of participants. Cancellation policy: In case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure) your money will be returned. In other cases, if you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply: Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund. In form of money/voucher whatever you prefer.
