Hiking: Sierra de Irta and Peñiscola
Sierra de Irta
If you want to discover the beauty of Valencia, you should definitely not miss Sierra de Irta! This route will be very easy to hike but its at the same time incredibly beautiful! While we are walking we will see breathtaking nature as the vegetation of Sierra der Irta offers a lot of variety. During the route you can discover archaeological remains, such as the Arab castles of Alcalá de Chivert and Santa Magdalena de Pulpis or the watchtowers of Badum and Ebrí.
As we are not far from the coast, we can even see some maritim life – maybe you can spot a mediterranean turtle?
Peñiscola
Discover the beautiful city of Peñiscola with us! This charming town has a lot to offer. When you walk through it, you might think you are in Greece: Small, narrow streets with with houses and blue window shutters, cobbled pavements and flowers everywhere. Peñiscola definitely is a destination you shouldn’t miss when you are living in Valencia.
On the top of the city you will find the old castle of Peñiscola. You can enter and find some interesting pieces of the towns history. Going up and up the castle, you will have an amazing view over the area. It is truly breathtaking!

Level of difficulty: Medium Easy,
Elevation gain: 90 m
Elevation loss: -63mts
The track is easy and you will have many stops on the way.

9:00 Departure
Departure from from Avenida Aragon 31, (In front of mestalla), Meeting at 8.45!
10:30 Arrival in Sierra de Irta
We arrive in Sierra de Irta, meet our tour guide and get ready for the hike
11:00 Start of the hike
We start to walk through the natural park
13:30 Lunch break
We take a break to eat something
17:00 Arrival at Peñiscola
You have time to see the city, explore the castle and go to the beach
18:30 Back to Valencia
At 18:00 we will meet to go back to Valencia.
For the hike: Water, food, sport or mountain shoes, sunscreen

Important & Cancellation policy
We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departure.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip we have a minimum (50 pers.) and a maximum number of participants.
Cancellation policy:
In case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure) your money will be returned.
In other cases, if you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before)
Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before)
Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before)
Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before)
After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
