Valencia is paradise for every Erasmus Student! Good weather, beach, many restaurants & bars, beautiful city & a huge park. What else could you wish for?
We have listed some of the best places for Erasmus students in this article so you can make the most out of your stay!
Turia Park
The beautiful Turia Park which stretches along the whole city was once a river and has a length of around 9km. It’s the perfect spot to have a picnic with your friends. Just take some music, beers & good company. Also, Turia Park is the Hot Spot for Open Air Sports! You will find many people who go for a run, do yoga or workouts.
The Port
The Port of Valencia is beautiful at every time throughout the day. Especially at night when the sun goes down and the lights are being reflected by the water. You can find some restaurants or just take some food and drinks with you and sit down at your favorite spot. We also organize every Tuesday our Language Exchange Meeting at Veles e Vents where you can meet new people and have a drink next to the Port.
Malvarrosa Beach
The perfect spot to sunbathe, swim, go for a run or party at night! There are many activities offered by several organizations like Beachvolley or Yoga. Also, you can find the best Paella in the city close to the beach.
Blasco Ibanez
Blasco Ibanez is a big street south of Valencia. It’s the student area and you can find cheap bars & clubs here. Our office is also located here to be close to all of the Erasmus students. Every Thursday we are organizing a Language Exchange Meeting, which also takes place in Blasco Ibanez!
Ruzafa & El Carmen
Ruzafa & El Carmen are districts of Valencia. Both of them offer many charming restaurants and bars. El Carmen is closer to the city center and offers a lot of handicraft and alternative shops. Ruzafa is located south of the city center and well-known for its clubs, restaurants & bars. Go and have some Tapas with your friends!
Ciudad de las Artes y Sciencias
The City of Sciences & Arts is definitely worth going for a stroll! It’s beautiful architecture and buildings are beautiful to look at. There is also a cinema, museum & a night club! The Umbracle is an open air club right next to the City of Arts & Sciences. You should not miss it!
